Film made awesome

FLF Films, headed by director Jerry Dugan, specialises in action‑sports, automotive and tourism projects. The company combines bold storytelling with striking cinematography to create work that is both visually compelling and emotionally engaging.

Mclaren 600lT

To celebrate the launch of the McLaren 600LT, we filmed at Chuckwalla Speedway just south of Palm Springs. I directed and served as director of photography, capturing the car’s performance on the track. Nathan Garofalos operated the HurriCam rig, giving us dynamic, high‑speed shots that matched the supercar’s energy.

Collaborating with my good friend and Olympic gold medalist Johnny Mosley, I took on the role of director of photography for this project. Even amid challenging conditions, we enjoyed ourselves and captured dynamic, high‑energy footage that truly stands out.

Toyota “Sweet Spot”

Hamilton Watches.

For Hamilton Watches, I served as the aerial director of photography on a visually arresting spot featuring pilot and filmmaker Trent Palmer. Our team mounted a state‑of‑the‑art GSS gyro‑stabilized camera system on a Bell 412 helicopter to capture sweeping, cinematic aerial sequences that showcase both the watch’s precision and the thrill of flight.

MRF Tires

For MRF’s “Wanderer” campaign, I directed a cinematic spot starring cricket icon Virat Kohli. Our production spanned two countries—Mumbai’s vibrant streets and the rugged landscapes of central Thailand—to showcase the tire’s versatility and spirit of adventure. The result is a dynamic film that pairs Kohli’s star power with striking visuals, highlighting MRF’s commitment to performance across diverse terrains.

Sonata Watches.

I directed an adrenaline‑charged commercial for Sonata Watches, an Indian watch brand, on location in South Africa. To convey the brand’s bold spirit, we collaborated with world‑class wingsuit pilots and filmed high‑energy action sequences that capture the thrill of flight against breathtaking landscapes. The resulting spot blends extreme aerial cinematography with the elegance of the timepieces, highlighting Sonata’s blend of performance and style.

Toyota “Lines”

For Toyota’s “Lines” campaign, I served as director of photography for director Doug Walker and collaborated with Olympic gold medalist Johnny Mosley. The concept drew a poetic parallel between the graceful tracks Mosley carved at Palisades Tahoe and the sculpted contours of a new Toyota. Our footage intercut dynamic shots of Mosley tracing fluid lines down the mountain with cinematic close‑ups of the vehicle’s body, emphasizing the shared elegance and precision of both forms.
